KIM BOMB ‘EM? Could Kim Jong-un unleash his anthrax-tipped artillery shells on next year’s Winter Olympics … just 50 MILES from North Korean border?

THOUSANDS of visitors at next year’s Winter Olympics in South Korea will be at the mercy of Kim Jong-un’s military, a leading expert has warned.

People from all around the world will descend on Pyeongchang – just 50 miles from the border with the North – next February as the town hosts the 2018 winter games.

And John Hemmings, director of the Asia Studies Centre at think tank The Henry Jackson Society, says it is impossible to predict what will happen.

He told The Sun Online: “The situation in North Korea is so unpredictable that it’s impossible to say what will happen next month, let alone next year. It can all change so quickly.

“We have two unpredictable elements now – one in the White House and one in Pyongyang.”

Hemmings referred to recent North Korean missile tests and Donald Trump’s decision to send the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier to the region as evidence that neither side is backing down.
