The world feels harder to make sense of than ever. Every day brings a flood of news, outrage and noise. How do we cut through it? And how do we think clearly in an age of confusion?

In this special event, the Henry Jackson Society and the Hexagon Society are honoured to welcome Raphaël Enthoven – a French philosopher, writer and broadcaster. A fierce defender of liberal democracy and co-founder of Franc-Tireur magazine, Enthoven is one of Europe’s foremost thinkers.

Join us for a special conversation that will explore how philosophy can help us navigate today’s world – from the rise of populism and fake news to the moral dilemmas of artificial intelligence – and why the battle of ideas is more vital than ever.

Raphaël Enthoven is one of France’s leading philosophers, writers and broadcasters. A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure, he has taught at Sciences Po and the École Polytechnique. He has written several books and is the co-founder and columnist of Franc-Tireur magazine.
