Iran has used hackers to target Israel and the West using its cyber army. Using both state and non-state hacking groups, Iran has been able to wage asymmetric war. Some of the targets have included transportation hubs, energy grids, medical centres, and even air raid warning systems. While the world focuses on the Straits of Hormuz, perhaps an equal threat lurks in cyber space, where Iranian actors seek to strike. This event will analyse the threat Iran poses, and how governments should respond to counter the aggression.
