A World Cup Special: The Politics of Sport
Together the panel will look at whether politics and sport should mix? How do we ensure the global community remains united in keeping Russia out of international sporting events. Whether FIFA has become too political? With ticket sales for the World Cup low, what has gone wrong? Do we need to better protect fans from their sport being politicised? The importance of sport in uniting communities. As well as providing plenty of time for audience questions. Following the panel discussion there will be an opportunity to network with the panel members, participate in the Henry Jackson Society’s World Cup predication and enjoy a drink.
