Social media platforms have seen significant Russian disinformation activity. The goal is to weaken western support for Ukraine, isolating it from allies, and making it more vulnerable. As Russia struggles under sanction and military reversals, it has leaned into disinformation as a coercive tool. This report examines the technologies and tactics, and how western countries can and must react.
