From predicting threats and detecting vulnerabilities to transforming military decision-making\, AI is no longer a futuristic tool but an operational necessity. Governments and defence institutions around the world are racing to harness its potential\, while grappling with the risks of adversaries doing the same. The question is no longer whether AI will transform security\, but how – and who will lead transformation. \nThe Henry Jackson Society is honoured to host Dr. Anshu Roy\, Founder and CEO of Rhombus Power\, whose groundbreaking work is reshaping defence and national security decision-making. Under his leadership\, Rhombus has demonstrated an unprecedented ability to anticipate global events – most notably\, predicting the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the exact day. This level of precision has earned Rhombus the trust of senior U.S. government leaders\, international partners\, and the U.S. Air Force\, where its predictive tools have saved billions. \nA physicist by training\, with a PhD from the University of Michigan and early collaborations with a Nobel Laureate\, Dr. Roy has journeyed from inventing particle detection systems for the Fukushima cleanup to building one of the world’s most advanced AI-powered predictive platforms. This event offers a rare opportunity to hear from a pioneer whose technology is not only informing but redefining the future of national security. \n \nDr Anshu Roy \nDr. Anshu Roy is the Founder and CEO of Rhombus Power\, a company transforming defense and national security decision-making through its AI-powered\, predictive decision-support platform. Under his leadership\, Rhombus has anticipated oncoming Taliban attacks\, predicted the Russian invasion of Ukraine to the day\, and saved billions for the U.S. Air Force— becoming trusted by senior leaders across the U.S. government and international partners. A PhD from the University of Michigan and a postdoc collaborator with a Nobel Laureate\, Dr. Roy previously invented a particle detection platform used in the Fukushima cleanup before building Rhombus into the software company it is today. \n  \n \nDr Helena Ivanov \nDr Helena Ivanov is an associate research fellow at the Henry Jackson Society.  She recently completed a PhD in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research focuses on the relationship between propaganda and violence against civilians. In her thesis\, Helena examined the role propaganda played during the Yugoslav Wars and produced a model for studying propaganda which details the key phases\, functions\, discourses\, and techniques of propaganda (the model itself is applicable to other contexts). Additionally\, Helena also served as a Manager at the Centre for International Studies at the LSE. Prior to her PhD\, Helena completed an MPhil in Political Theory at the University of Oxford\, and holds a BA in Politics from the University of Belgrade.
