Integration has become a ‘political orphan’ in search of a home

HJS research fellow Dr Rakib Ehsan discusses how the integration of minorty groups into British society is a neglected policy. He argues that both the Conservatives and Labour have so far been ineffectual in tackling issues of integration and that while the UK is leading multi-ethnic democracy, social cohension is still a glaring problem.
