How Criminals Exploit The Dark Net To Sell Drugs

Last year, I released a report highlighting how terrorists–particularly terrorists linked to Islamic State–were able to use the dark net to recruit members, plan attacks, and raise money.

While conducting research for the project, I became increasingly interested in dark net marketplaces, and the ways in which they were exploited by criminals to find, sell, and obtain drugs. After all, terrorists and criminals have many similarities, and the techniques used by law enforcement to hinder the sales of illicit goods were also used to infiltrate and intercept potential terrorist attacks.
