‘Trump World Order’ Weekly Webinar Series: NATO

5 December @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Alarm bells will be ringing in European capitals after incoming Trump appointees have indicated they no longer wish to support Ukraine and instead support a ceasefire with Russia. What does this mean for NATO and European defence going forward? How will the defence alliance cope with an isolationist US? What does this mean for the future of Ukraine and European security? How will the Trump administration handle future relations with a revanchist Putin regime in Moscow? To answer these questions, and yours, HJS research fellow Andrew Fox will be joined by Mike Martin MP, Liberal Democrat Defence Spokesman and Ukraine expert, Dr Jacob Stoil, chair of applied history at the Modern Warfare Institute, and author and journalist, Peter Apps.
