Jeremy Corbyn speaks at event hosted by extremist Muslim group which is accused of anti-semitism

JEREMY CORBYN last night spoke at an event hosted by an extremist group which has been repeatedly accused of anti-semitism.

The Labour leader joined several of his MPs at a meeting in Parliament organised by Muslim Engagement and Development (Mend), whose boss has endorsed the killing of British troops.

A report by a think-tank this week described Mend as “Islamists masquerading as civil libertarians”.

The author of the report said at the time: “Public figures and elected officials agreeing to speak at Mend’s events should be aware that this is an organisation which has hosted preachers known for their extremist and intolerant views.”
