The Henry Jackson Society and anti-corruption campaigners are today highlighting the UK properties believed to be owned by prominent individuals from the former Soviet Union.

For oligarchs, London’s high-end property market is one of the go-to destinations to give questionable money a veneer of respectability. The ‘Kleptocracy Tour’ highlights a number of such properties in a special guided bus journey around London on Thursday 4 February 2016.

Dr Andrew Foxall, Director of the Russia Studies Centre, who is speaking on the tour says: “London, like other global cities, has long been attractive to the wrong people for the wrong reasons.

“This tour, of multi-million pound properties owned by oligarchs from the former Soviet Union, aims to draw wider attention to this.”
