Algeria sent troops to Libya

The Times (London) has reported that special forces from the United States, France and Algeria have arrived in southern Libya, with the express purpose of rooting out members of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, or AQIM. Quoting sources from The Henry Jackson Society, the article elaborated on the specific objectives of the task force, which includes destroying the group’s lines of communication, their training camps, and any weapons stockpiles.
